Every Breath
Every breath I take is an eternity. Need I really say more? After all, the miraculous is ineffable, is it not?
Yet were you to insist I elaborate, Be more concrete, precise, for specificity's sake, I'd qualify my metaphor, this way:
Every breath my being breathes Is the sweetest inhalation of the eternal now — A cosmos opening onto cosmoses unfolding in my soul.
