Not Such a Bad Thing

Becoming an impotent old man isn't such a bad thing.

You could be making mad, rabid love to a Russian princess,

On a hillside in a lush valley rimming Chernobyl,

At the precise moment the reactors belch their nuclear spew,

Inseminating you, with metastasizing lesions.

Or you could be skiing down the snowy slopes at Grenoble,

Flaunting your skills, over the most tumultuous moguls,

When, of a sudden, your bootstraps break loose

And you slingshot through the glaciated air,

Into the vagina of a venomous dragonfly you'll try to sodomize.

And if neither of these tragedies were to come to pass,

You could, as easily, die, at the overripe age of 2958,

Not from constipation, cataracts, amnesia, psoriasis, gas,

But from a chronic case of the crabs, contracted from Pat,

The nymphomaniacal hermaphroditish silverback gorilla.
