Love's Quintet

I

My tongue reads the prints on your fingertips,

Identifies you as my lover.

II

When we stand face to face,

In naked embrace,

Our love is joined at the hip,

And our souls become a perfect fit.

III

I didn't know how much in love

I wasn't

Until I met you.

IV

Linda:   Your love fills the empty spaces in my heart...

L.D.:     which has awakened me from my love's deep sleep.

V

We're the poems we've yet to write,

For the book we've yet to title,

About the love we've yet to complete.
