Glories
The glory of the Word — Lord-glory — Is the theme of pastor Dan Doriani's Sunday sermon.
Earthly glories are evanescent self-aggrandizements, While those that Jesus lavishes on us, unconditionally, Are eternity's gifts of wisdom and spiritual riches, Which outshine the dazzlements of civilizations, Accrue when we put our trust in His love. And when we do surrender our hubris, We prepare our yearning souls for the glories of holiness.
You and I, Linda, on this autumnal Sunday morning, Glory in each other's faith in each other.
