New to You

                                                                  

I'm old, I'm ancient, I'm prehistoric,

And if not,

I'm nonetheless not new to myself.

 

But being new to you,

Feeling what new is like,

Through your happiness, compassion,

 

Renews my jubilant youth,

Energizes, in me, a love more ageless
