Thensday

Then the day came

                                    when night

                                                          forgot to arrive,

Lost touch with its will

                                         to suffer

                                                        the coming of another morn,

Failed to give warning,

                                         to him,

                                                      of its stupefying despondency,

Left his hysterical spirit

                                          grasping

                                                            for the agitated wind's straws,

Until his aghast eyes

                                      slammed shut,

on every atom of his past,

And time collapsed,

                                     without regard

                                                                for his perished heart.

Then the day came

                                    when night did arrive,

                                                                   and he forgot to die.
