All his DNA
Drained away,
And in its place
Lay a great waste.
His devastated brain
Labored, in vain,
To change loss to gain,
Reverse all the fade,
But everything waned,
Until all that remained
Was his name,
Which refused to claim
The flaking gray
In his head's grave.
