Kissing and Hugging
It's the California duo's last evening in St. Louis. We won't see them again until Christmas vacation, In Rancho Ladera, six months west of now. We plan their final Grandzo-and-"Old D" hours By giving them a free hand in deciding what they'd like to do.
Linda serves a delicious supper, on the screened-in porch, Which Savvy and Parker have not only requested But helped select, at the grocery store: Gulf shrimp with red cocktail sauce, steamed vegetables, Salad, and sliced Italian bread, with garlic olive oil.
After dinner, we pick up Fro-Yo, then settle on the den sofa, To watch the Olsen twins, in Switching Goals. The last act is the kids' theatrical roast of you and me, Caricaturing our two weeks of furtive kissing and hugging. Before they go to bed, you and I, overtly, kiss and hug them.
