My Eyes' Twilight
The older and older I slowly grow,
The more I feel I owe
(For the ongoing flow of my spirit)
A whole trove of benedictions
To the source of cosmic wisdom,
Which has granted me tranquillity,
Serenity mortally transcendent.
The more I contemplate my fortune,
The softer glows my eyes' twilight,
Until vision is a misty history
Of existences forming in the east,
Just beyond the peripheries of my gaze,
Preparing to receive my soul,
Eager to speak to it, Face to face.
