After many too many months of bloodletting, The scurrilous, contemptuous McCain campaign Finally comes to a crashing, screeching finality,
A campaign most insidious, pernicious, malicious, Which can only pride itself on an unpraiseworthy effort To discredit, demonize its opponent,
Pulling out all the racist, religious, ad hominem stops. Indeed, "Straight Talk" has never been more crooked — The lowest form of discourse yet taken by a politician,
So reminiscent of that pursued by Dubya and Rove That as late as the eve of Election Day, The U.S. is still quaking from its inquisitorial negativity.
But will it realize, in time, that a vote for the "mavericks" Translates into four more years of the Bush/Cheney junta That's buried America, up to its grandchildren's necks?
