The Best Night Ever
Our idea of the very best night of our lives, Especially since it's our last night with you till who knows when (Maybe not again until next summer),
Would be, more than anything, to eat at home, tonight. After we drive to Subway, pick up turkey sandwiches, We could set up tables, in the TV room,
And watch The Lion King — it's our very favorite, Though we've seen it at least a hundred times. I love Simba best. I think Rafiki, the monkey, is the funniest.
And when it's over? You know, Grandma and L.D. . . . FroYo — A whole cup of Cookies and Cream, With sprinkles, Heath-bar pieces, blueberries, and whipped cream.
We could walk there, since it's so close. OK, you say? That's great! I wish we could go right now! And maybe tomorrow you'll both forget we have to fly home.
